Question by : Honeymoon destination – Bali, Fiji or other ideas?
We´re getting married in Australia next July, so we have a lot of great destinations to choose from nearby…Our perfect idea of a honeymoon is the typical tropical island, blue water, cocktails etc…but also we would like to go somewhere a little exotic too. Another option would be Thailand but Í already spent some time there and want to go somewhere I have never been. Any ideas?

bali or fiji are both very good locations. too bad you aren’t going to get married in bali….there is a wedding chapel there that is absolutely breathtaking. check it out.

Question by : Where can I buy guyaberas or camp shirts in Tampa.?
Looking for these cuban style wedding shirts for me and groomsmen I do not want to buy online I want to try them on and see how we all look. I am looking for a decent price. Online i can find these shirts but many only have 2 white or light colored. I am also looking for a store with lots of other beach attire for my honeymoon in the tampa/st petes/clear water area

I’m getting married in February of ’09 and my fiance and I were talking about doing a honeymoon registry instead of registering at like Bed, Bath, and Beyond or something. We’re already living together, so we don’t need dishes or anything like that. Has anyone on here done that, and if so, was that the only registry you did?

you can do a wedding registry through Liberty Travel. I think I would also do a small registry via Target/Macy’s ect…so this way you give your guests options (like for your bridal shower). I didn’t think I needed anything either, but they (the bridal consultants at Macy’s) suggested that anything that we had that was over 3 years old, put on the registry.

Guests like to get you gifts..they not may want to contribute towards your honeymoon.

honeymoon destinations washington state:

Question by Hoekie: Destination/elopement style wedding…now everyone wants to come, but I wanted it to be intimate?
My fiance and I are planning to get married on the beach along the Washington State coast next June. We live only about 450 miles east in Eastern Washington. I wanted it to be intimate and elopement-like. My parents were planning to come and be our witnesses. And were were to have a reception when we return. However, as soon as everyone found out that’s what we wanted to do, half of my extended family invited themself and now plan on going. I don’t want to be rude and tell them no, but it’s ending up not really being what I wanted. Am I being irrational? This is also supposed part of our honeymoon, and having a bunch of others trekking along doesn’t sound like much fun. Should I just say nothing, and allow whoever wants to come, to come? Or is there a nice way for me to let them know that we really wanted it to just be the two of us?

I would send each family member a letter explaining to them in a polite way that you appreciate their enthusiasm about your wedding but you really just want it to be an intimate occassion. Then invite them to the reception that will take place once you return. If their feelings get hurt, that’s their problem. This is YOUR wedding day. Don’t let yourself be dissappointed on one of the most important days of your life.
