Question by John Redcorn: Bride’s attire for leaving the church?
My fiance is having the most difficult time finding something to wear when we leave the church to start our honeymoon!

For me, “we” decided i’ll be wearing black slacks, dress shoes, and a nice light collared shirt with no tie.

And then last night, she texted me a pic of her wearing her dress at home. Since it’s gonna be a hot july wedding, her mother opted for a summer dress. But it’s so bland, and gray, and just, “So so wrong!” she looks like a kid going to elementary school.

She asked me if i liked it and i told her “no,” but i guess she wasnt asking for the truth. She’s 22, yet she still feels like she can’t tell her mom “no” when she picks out stuff for her because she’s paying for everything. I told her, she needs to pick out her own clothes. Seriously, who still lets their mom pick out their clothes???

I’m looking for advice, places to go shop for clothes, and how to tell her that she’s not her mom’s little baby anymore.

she said she would go return the dress, so i need ideas of where we can go to shop around.

oh, and pictures of suggestions would be nice too.
during the reception, we’re going to change clothes and leave our “wedding gear” with the best man and maid of honor. then when we leave, we wont have on a dress or tux.

Wouldn’t you leave the church in your regular wedding gear? If you want to change for your trip, she can wear a casual skirt and blouse combo, maybe…try Macy’s, or any department store…

Hi, does anyone know where online I can order some cute engaged/bride/just married/mrs. (new last name)/etc. online for an inexpensive price? Maybe like $ 10-$ 20 each? I want a few to wear to wedding things (like the bridal shower, the bachelorette party, honeymoon, etc.), but I don’t really want to spend that much on something I’ll only where a few times. Thanks a lot. Specific sites please.
Uh… no… I plan on wearing a shirt that says “bride” to my bridal shower so the women from his side of the family that I haven’t met yet know who I am… and I plan on wearing a shirt to my bachelorette party somewhat like that along with my bridesmaids… as well as on my honeymoon… its very common… I think you’re just trying to be either mean or stupid.

Question by 1-man-show: Can i request my bride not to wear any lingerie during the wedding night?
i’m referring to panties, not bra..

however is it a good idea if i can ask to wear a see thru wedding gown that that highlight her body shape?

you can certainly let her know your preferences, but the best way to be sure of getting what you want is to purchase the wedding night outfit for her as a wedding gift. make sure it is a really nice one, not something embarrasing or tacky.
